The File of Life is a voluntary program designed to help your local first responders to quickly obtain in an emergency your necessary medical history, your support needs, and your emergency contact information. It could save your life.
The File Of Life is a refrigerator magnet with an attached plastic pocket labeled “FILE OF LIFE”. In the plastic pocket is a tri-fold card on which you can record your vital emergency information. Fill in the information on the card in pencil. Remember, the information will help first responders to better assist you in an emergency. When you are finished filling out the card, place it back into the plastic pocket and hang on the outside of your refrigerator.
Simple as that!
