We welcome back local author and artist Pat Procko, who some of you remember as Pat Kelbaugh. Pat eventually ran out of things to say in watercolor so her recent work became a contemporary, stylized figurative series called "REDHEADS!" and will be exhibited at the library during the month of September. We decided that a talk would be nice to go along with her exhibit. Pat's focus also expanded beyond visual art to the written form. She wrote six paranormal-set local novels in an ongoing series called Dreamtime as well as a collection of poetry that she began in the early 2000s, simply because poetry kept popping into her head and she kept writing it down. She's had to reinvent herself as do many women her age. Pat will discuss her writing process and how her art and writing have melded over the years.
