This year, we added a new lesson within our 5th grade Youth Promise program called “Healthy Gaming Habits” and to coincide with this lesson, we are hosting a free parent workshop that expands on our Youth Promise lessons. Our goal is to empower parents with insights into fostering healthy gaming habits, ensuring online safety, and promoting online sportsmanship among their children. Our “Level Up Parenting” Thursday, February 29th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, this event offers practical tips and discussions led by Mr. Joe from WYFS and Officer Lane and Officer Fredricks from the Waterford Police Department.
