About Us
Waterford Youth and Family Services was established by the Town Ordinance in 1991 to:
- Increase the number and diversity of positive youth development programs
- Provide a coordinated means for the prevention of delinquency
- Reduce the amount of chemical abuse among youth
To carry out the theory of the Positive Youth Development (PYD) model, WYSB offers programming that supports the following areas:
- Family Connections
- Peer Relationships
- School Connections
- Community Connections
